Description

Bring moka coffee to your induction hob

The Bari moka pot brews strong, café-style coffee on induction, gas and electric hobs in about 5 minutes, with no capsules and no paper filters. Choose 4, 6 or 9 cups in polished stainless steel.

Free tracked delivery to the UK and Ireland. Orders are processed in 1–3 working days and arrive 7–11 working days after dispatch.

Which size do I need?

Moka pot "cups" are small espresso cups of about 30 ml of brewed coffee each, not mugs.

  • 4 cups (200 ml): about 120 ml of coffee. Best for 1 person. 17 cm tall, 8.8 cm base.
  • 6 cups (300 ml): about 180 ml of coffee. Best for 2 people, or 1 large latte. 20 cm tall, 9.8 cm base.
  • 9 cups (450 ml): about 270 ml of coffee. Best for 3–4 people. 22 cm tall, 11.2 cm base.

The ml figure is the size of the pot. Brewed coffee is less, because the grounds and the steam take up part of the water.

Key features

  • Hob compatibility: Works on induction, gas and electric hobs. On induction, use the ring that best matches the base.
  • Polished stainless steel: Durable, easy to clean and smart enough to bring to the table.
  • Permanent filter: It brews without capsules and without a paper filter.
  • Safety valve and heat-resistant handle: A safety valve and a heat-resistant handle support careful handling during brewing.

How to use

  1. Fill the base with water up to just below the safety valve.
  2. Add medium-fine ground coffee to the funnel without pressing it down, then screw the pot together.
  3. Place it on low to medium heat. When the coffee rises into the upper chamber, turn off the heat and serve.

Care

Rinse with warm water after use and let all parts dry before you reassemble the pot. Hand washing is recommended. Replace the silicone gasket when it becomes hard or starts to leak.
